Typography Poster

This poster was a personal experiment with typography and illustration, to improve my skills in this area.
I wanted to work more with typography and decorative letterforms. I decided a poster with designs for each letter would be a good way of doing this. As inspiration for the project, I decided the poster would have a nature theme and the letters would be inspired by words of the same letter (e.g. A for autumn). This helped me to stick to a brief and keep the style of the poster cohesive. I’m happy with how the final type illustrations and colours sit together on the poster, and that the designs complement one another, but all have unique designs.
